Here are some advice on how you can attempt to solve the issue:
-
Check for Updates
1) Open App Store or Google Play.
Keeping the app up to date ensures you have the latest bug fixes and improvements:
2) Tap your profile picture at the top right.
3) Find the Lift app and tap "Update" or "Update all" to update all apps.
-
Free Up Storage and Remove Unnecessary Projects:
1) Open the "Projects" section.
2) Delete non-relevant projects to improve app efficiency.
3) Ensure that your device has enough free storage:
iPhone: Settings → General → iPhone Storage
Android: Settings → Storage
-
If the app still crashes (iPhone only):
If you encountered a crash while using our app, we’d love to help resolve it. To do that, we need to understand exactly what went wrong behind the scenes. Unfortunately (or fortunately), we can't access your device directly, so we need your assistance in providing the crash log file (which records app activity before a crash). How to Retrieve and Send the Crash Log File:
1) Open iPhone Settings
2) Go to Privacy & Security
3) Tap Analytics & Improvements
4) Select Analytics Data
5) Search for a file named Stories (it should be around 30KB in size)
6) Tap Export at the top right corner
7) Use the Mail app to send the file to support@lift.bio.It’s not necessary to send the file immediately after a crash—you can find it later.
For a better understanding of where to locate this file and how to send it, check out this screen recording explaining the steps in detail. -
If the issue persists:
We kindly ask you to reach out to our support team. You can contact us via:
- In the App: My Projects → Settings → Contact Support
- By Email: support@lift.bio
